My grandparents had a place there, I have lots of 8mm film of their place, the area, and the dam. I had it transferred to DVD. I love going back up there. Someone posted the underwater forest pictures of the pond before, that would be cool to see again.

Pic was taken from Northern Exposure campground. My place is about 6-7 miles from there.

I knew you must be a great guy, you've got a place up there! Cut my teeth shrooming and fishing up there with grand-dad.

My uncle & aunt still owns the little greenish cabin on 3 & 1/3 rd. up the hill behind the Hi-C country store we used to call it and it is for sale, it was his dads. If they still had the place on the water I'd have be living up there every free minute. He has a house on a hill you can see from the pond on the East side of M-37 too. Someone stole his Ford tractor over the winter, they are snow-birds.

The place on the water was in the old Mesick trailer park, they had a permanent or seasonal spot there every year too. That all changed and nobody in the family kept the spot on Grandpa's lake. I remember the water was great out of their faucet, no phone, a dock & a boat of their own, grandma's cooking, had morels every time we went up there.....Great times.

I go up there once n a while to fish, in fact I am going up tomorrow to fish the area. And grab a slice of that breakfast pizza from Ellen's!
