Hello, I'm interested in buying this gun from a family friend and I want to make sure he gets what it's worth. Its a post 64 never fired perfect condition model 94 30-30.
I know there could be other factors but assuming it's just a plane Jane gun what's the ballpark value?

Give him what he paid for it up to what a new one costs. Much nicer to look at IMO than a new one.

I recently paid $260 for mine. Made in 64, some wear but still nice. Perfect condition would up that price of course.

It depends. I would offer what a gun shop would give him which would be a wholesale price. Then add a few bucks to sweeten the deal. All the best...
