Pop-up shanty set-up

    Bought a pop-up shanty for spearing an was wondering how you guys set up your decoys lines?

    Botek has a video floating around someplace ... he has a nice system.
    Mine isn't as nice ... I just tried describing it 3 times and can't get the picture to come out in words, LOL.

    My basic setup, I unhook the reels and the lines fold up with the hub.

    4F322D5B-D99D-4DA2-BA9F-B280022EEB62.jpeg I set up a little different. My hub has 2 doors opposing so I set up in the opposite corners. 2 can spear well looking opposite directions. It’s nice to see some other setups. I don’t have a pic of my reel set up. It’s also a little different. Tomorrow I’ll post something at the BTB.

    I have the room in my hub to do this just never have. I am going to give this a try. Full view of the entire hole.

    I had it set up for use myself in the pic. I could leave more room on the other side. That hole is 32 x 60

    bucman, you straddle each end for the two person setup? thats how i have done it in my hardside for years

    Yes. We sit facing each other with 2. Heater goes on the side then. When I’m alone I set up so I have more room like the pic.

    works really well for the end vision and side vision over being on one side huh:) now if there was just some fish to swim threw:)

    yes , google survival reels, or yoy-yo reels, they are super cheep to buy
