Bought a pop-up shanty for spearing an was wondering how you guys set up your decoys lines?
Botek has a video floating around someplace ... he has a nice system.
Mine isn't as nice ... I just tried describing it 3 times and can't get the picture to come out in words, LOL.
Cool thanks, just got to figure out my reel setup
My basic setup, I unhook the reels and the lines fold up with the hub.
I set up a little different. My hub has 2 doors opposing so I set up in the opposite corners. 2 can spear well looking opposite directions. It’s nice to see some other setups. I don’t have a pic of my reel set up. It’s also a little different. Tomorrow I’ll post something at the BTB.
I have the room in my hub to do this just never have. I am going to give this a try. Full view of the entire hole.
I had it set up for use myself in the pic. I could leave more room on the other side. That hole is 32 x 60
bucman, you straddle each end for the two person setup? thats how i have done it in my hardside for years
jason where did you get those metal reels, all i can find is plastic crap
Yes. We sit facing each other with 2. Heater goes on the side then. When I’m alone I set up so I have more room like the pic.
works really well for the end vision and side vision over being on one side huh now if there was just some fish to swim threw
my wife found them on line, very cheap, I think they were called survival reels, I will check
yes , google survival reels, or yoy-yo reels, they are super cheep to buy
