Analogy is flawed it's like stealing rotten food. At that point it's useless.
How many times do we have to kick this dead horse, take your kill charts back to the city draw units and keep em there!
The kill charts were a joke. I used to watch people with pens change 0 to 10,
4-14 and so on. Guy walks away.
New sap like Sami walks up LMAO
I know on great authority the locals on Harsens sandbagged the totals they got for years. Especially the weekday hunts.
They knew the odds were good they could pick that field again. If it showed 2 harvested versus 18.
yep it was no different here.
to be honest, they could bring kill charts back and i wouldn't care much. but yer gonna screw the managers out of getting real data...so have at it. lol
Yup. Bring it back. But I’ll be lying my ass off on my card.
What time do the polls close?
I am going absentee on this one!!!
I do miss the days of sammies 5 mojos a vortex and motorized jerk string. Looked like the grand circus. All to flare the birds at 40 yards and sail them to the next zone. Bring back mojos too my dog loves cleaning up cripples!
One time, many years ago, a buddy and I were on the tower at FP. A guy comes up to us and says it was his first time there, he'd been looking at the kill charts and was trying to get field 11 for the afternoon draw. We agreed that field 11 was a good spot.
He then pointed toward the refuge and said THAT'S FIELD 11 RIGHT, my buddy says YEP and walks away
I was doing better than that. I looked over the kill chart after afternoon hunt after checking in my ducks.
Yeah u n everyone else. What a turd
Can I mail in my vote? It's a long drive to Shi.
Kill charts might be the most pointless hill to die on. Even if a guy posts a great number in zone whatever if everyone goes out to that area and applies pressure the pattern can change.
Read the managers reports. Scout. Pick the best zone based on the data you have. Be happy.
(Even if you're now 0-2 getting drawn at NQP this year...this AM only thing is straight BS but that's another topics...and I'm sure I'd feel differently if I was 2-2 with good zones lol)
Kill charts don’t tell the whole story. Good hunters will go into an unsavory zone and kill birds. Rookies will go into a hot zone and sky blast at everything that goes by. They never let the birds work. Learn to be a good hunter and the draw you get/zone you go to won’t matter so much.
