Considering all that is going on I'm wondering if your rifle season was busy or not. I think I've seen more hunters.

The only reason to vote "More than last year" was because my combo tags were gone before gun season arrived. I used an antlerless tag in muzzy season. This year, I still have my combo tags available.

Last year I was done on opening day. This year I spent five days watching bark, leaves and chickadees.

Poll might be more interesting with a zero day option added. Be interesting to see how many have changed their rifle hunting habits since they can also "pull the trigger" during early bow these days.

I know from this post you are referring to Xbow hunters but in all reality unless you are shooting with your fingers on the string your release aid has a trigger too . Unless you don’t consider a release aid as a trigger mechanism

Hunted a lot less this season. Last year it took 23 "sits" to take 2 does.....passed on 12 bucks. This year it was 3 "sits" to take a really nice buck and a doe. Got lucky on the buck
    as he showed up @ 0800 on the opener. 11 15 20.jpg

I voted less. Last year it took me 8 days to shoot three deer. This year it took 6 days to shoot three deer. I only hunted one day after the third deer as there wasn't the urgency to spend more days afield.

8 days this year. Two deer during rifle season. One doe and one buck.

I have hunted much less. Kids being at home and wife being a “teacher.” Short handed at work. This year is well... you all know. On the bright side I took my kids out hunting more often. They must be sick if mom and really wanted to go a lot this season. Weather has been good for that also. Sneaking away to a buddies family farm this weekend and it sounds like they want does shot. I still have both combo tags left. Hmm to buy a doe tag or not, that is the question. Cannot decide if I want to still have the option for a buck or just go back to pheasant hunting until new year’s day.
