I collect a few to use. They make great target stands to shoot at. Free.. Agree, some people don't realize the election is over.

 

Never understood the rabid support for candidates.

 

When I was active with a few campaigns we would try to grab the signs the days immediately after the election. The stakes can be recycled regardless of how beaten up the signs are from the weather.

 

In my area it was about 60 Trump/40Biden-after the election all the Biden signs were down in about a day but still a decent amount of trump signs. But a couple of days after the Trump signs didn’t go down, the Biden signs started going back up. In this politically charged environment, the last thing I need is some overly zealous person destroying my property due to a sign.

This year I saw a political sign boo-boo that really says someone is not paying attention, and saw this twice: signs for each candidate in the primary election, right next to each other.

There’s a sore loser that the media covers everyday that either doesn’t realize it or has trouble comprehending it.

If you want to complain about still having to see Trump signs, just pay your $20 and do it in the correct place.

 

My dad was involved in local republican politics. My mom was a diehard democrat. We always had republican signs in our yard. And my mother always took them down around 8:01 PM on election night.

 

Im a proponent of letting just voting for your US rep and letting those 540 congressmen vote for the president.
it would eliminate all the signs, adds, money, everything

 

Can you imagine the money you could make as a US rep selling your presidential vote?

 

I think that only works in Illinois if the congressman is smart enough to not leave a trail of incriminating evidence.
