There's also Manistee
Got one this morning and none this evening. Definitely marking plenty of fish, but getting them to bite is a whole different story.
Anywhere around there I can charge a battery for a couple of hours? Don’t really plan on staying in a hotel or campground. Hell im fine with throwing a place $10 or so, not sure of the going rate on that one. Lol
Fish proposing everywhere around last night, no biters as usual. Saw a handful caught. Big lake has been slow, wind looks good today and tomorrow.
The kind of thing that could force some restrictions in the area of PM Lake.
Wow. What the hell.
Hopefully they dealt with the idiot harshly.
Seems to me of you get run over by a large ferry in a port with a regular ferry schedule, you probably deserved it.
If you ignore a smoke belching horn blowing 400' vessel, how many smaller boats have you messed up?
. Big lake is fishing fine. Just have your spread in before daybreak and adjust with the sun. Want to catch salmon, don’t be late to the party
You have to be a special kind of stupid to mess with a big ship or train.
Don't give away all the secrets in one post!
Was he hooked up with a buck or hen? I could see taking on the badger if there's fresh skein involved, but if it was just a buck, then he's absolutely an idiot.
Don't understand the "secret". We've been jigging since the mid 70's and it was crowded then. Very effective way to catch salmon and pretty much any fish that swims. I make my jigs and use a lot smaller sizes than referenced here for salmon. I do go heavier for trout and whitefish as they are often in depths that require more weight. Platte can be similar depending on where the coho are staged.
The Princess blows his horn all the time, it's part of his show.
we definitely moved out of their way!!
