I'm north of GR, it's about 90 minutes or so to get to pm lake. I'm camping up there with my boys next week, so hopefully something moves in.
Any updates? Got a trip planned to PM Monday and Tuesday next week. Sent from my SM-G960U using Michigan Sportsman mobile app
Fished Tuesday evening for 2 hours. 2-2. The rain this past Monday brought lots of fish in. With the big lake now setting up with warm water and no rain in the forecast until Sunday it may be a while before a new push comes in. Sent from my VS501 using Michigan Sportsman mobile app
Thx for the reports! Headed that way tomorrow, hopefully they start stacking up! Sent from my SM-G960U using Michigan Sportsman mobile app
Surface temp at buoy is in the 70 degree range. I would head out the pier heads and hange a right towards the state park and Big Sable Pointe. Well, really I would beach launch my canoe. Staging salmon is all about temperature. The reason I would head to the point is to get to deep water, with temp, for not yet staging kings. Good luck.
Appreciate it! Fished there with charter captains in the past, but this is a DIY trip with some friends with a couple small boats. Was planning to jig on PM, but i just need to talk the wife into a bigger boat! If the water is flat, maybe ill make the run north? Sent from my SM-G960U using Michigan Sportsman mobile app
I was pike fishing today and wow was it a zoo. Joggers anchored up right where everyone trolls. No clue if that's the way its been all year but I can see why people are yelling. If you're gonna anchor, move to the side a bit. There's much better places that trollers don't access.
