    My daughter bought the house next door, the township is doing inspections and for some reason I don’t think this will pass , what the proper way to Connect the drain pipe

    That is a no hub fitting or Fernco, they are very common when connecting PVC drain pipes to cast drain pipes.

    Thanks for the response, maybe I’m reading and thinking to much , I just hope they don’t make me tear out every thing to bring it up to today’s code because I have s traps vs p traps on the sinks , electrical inspection and had to GFI the Garage and a new ground wire

    Ferncos are the industry standard for transitioning pipe materials on drainage systems. It’s all good.

    The first cabin we purchased we had to have the electric inspected (because it had been shut off >1 year) when they called they said it failed and needed to be upgraded because it's only a 60A service. I asked "is it required or recommended?" They then said "recommended" had electric turned on that day.

    Just make sure there are no 90 deg elbows in sewer lines. Turds dont know enough to turn 90 deg but need a double 45. The hardware guy can explain it to you.

    Maybe bump up the laxatives or Strohs beer and they might.
