All of thise fish have great coloration. That’s even more impressive than the size. Maybe post spawn those big females need to doll themselves up to get attention since everyone knows they won’t be putting out until next spring.

Awesome pike! If you don't mind my asking, what region of the state are you in? I fish for them all the time in southern Michigan and have yet to get anything of that size.

duke the larger lakes in the Pinckney Rec Area have pike in them. Give it a try.
There is the lower det rvr and lsc both have lots of pike, plenty places out there to catch them now till your arm gets sore casting.
Try Mitchell’s bay in LSC. Lots of big pike. Kent Lake is good too.
