China must male all the fish eye beads now,I guess thats why no one has them.Everyone use to sell them .but I also was told no one seems to ask for them any more.I still have a few in Canada if they ever let us back in

That's what I have found also, I never would have thought there would be a shortage of them I did not think that many people used them. But I also never thought there would be a shortage of toilet paper..In Vietnam we ran out of food and Ammo, during the rainy season BUT they did manage to send us Conex box's full of **** paper. Go Figure

I just bought some on Amazon. 6mm fish eye beads in multiple colors. Have never used them, but will take your recommendation Bill. Making the rigs is pretty easy. Just do a search on Amazon for fish eye beads.

Looks good! Of course even better with a snelled hook off the sinker snap...
I use a special hook I got from Netcraft, can't remember what size, described as a live minnow hook... Mustad 3777 Central Draught hook... size 28? Sizes are weird...
The hook you show would be good also as would a Tru Turn... Lots of good ways for sure.
Working on flies now... hopefully something to show in a day or so....
    Keep at it looking good!

Mark, the hooks are true turn... I looped the mono lead through the bead twice with the second pass wrapping the first pass as well. Locks in the location pretty good.

Kinda miss tying flies. Used to tie many. Fly fished a lot as well.

On your truck, it's probably a PERCH rod that blew, not a connecting rod...
