I think there's a sign saying you cannot, but I doubt it's enforced.

I am sure it is enforced. Our police around here don’t have that much to do. And that is something that gets done.

Here is a report from wed am. Got 1 25# king on a glow green black ladder Ace Hi 85 down in 111fow and 1 10# king on a blue dolphin on 300cu in 165 fow. That morning the top 70’ of water was warm and at 95’ down it was 42 degrees. Temperate zone was 20’ of water. Didn’t mark any bait marked some fish in 70-80fow. Counted 8 boats widely scattered. Too far to see any action from them. Most were deeper than me. I am hoping to hear from Tom or Mega-byte for some additional encouragement.

Fished this morning out of Pentwater. Plenty of fish in 130-160 to pick away. Meat on Spin Dr worked best. Dark blades were best. Kevin’s Girlfriend was best. Brads super bait was amazing today! IMG_1093.JPG IMG_1110.JPG IMG_1114.JPG IMG_1116.JPG IMG_8188.JPG

Nice job, I don’t see any down riggers. Are ya just using copper and or wire, and dipseys.
Was gonna take wife out today but opted out till next week.

Yep. With oil. Super impressed by the consistent action the setup gives.

2.2-2.4 at the ball was the best.

Fishing sucked for us today. Two kings this morning, both on flounder pounder down 85. 0/1 tonight, only hit coming 110 down in 140 fow.

We have two riggers. Pics angle covered them. We took 4-5 rigger bites 80-125 down. The last 3 days the active kings were 70-125 down. NOT ONE SPOON BITE. All flashers.

I'm sure you could camp at the dead end boat launch at the end of Morrison Road up on Bass Lake a few miles north of town.

That's the old Bill Saif twinkie rig, weve been running them with herring oil to no avail,
Those Brads baits are hard to find in the good colors right now they must be working.
He slams em on lake Ontario with the lighted pro troll flashers

I ran them earlier this year after the kings had skipped town. Decided to run it after nothing much working the two previous days, and bingo. I had the herring oil on the boat. Didn’t need it.

My belated Friday morning report, last trip out before heading home.

Went 1/3, losing two mature kings at back of boat. Had a newbie out who wanted to fight fish like they're walleye. Green ladderback down 85 took two hits, 300 copper with Kevin's girlfriend and meat took the other hit.

Overall, a disappointing trip but at least the weather was decent. Had high hopes given the reports from late last week.
