Well if they aren't paying attention to the signs we have up for em, why would they a bridge? These are American animals, no one tells them what to do.....
I agree. I was just trying saying bridges over rivers on county roads can be a funnel for wildlife. Hunters know this and if animal rights wackos build one for wildlife, I think they might get a big surprise when they hear they lead a deer to its death. One can argue that the interstate system had as profound an impact on our country that the electric light bulb did. Whether that impact was good or bad could be argued until the cows come home.
I lived on US41 for many years and must have missed this. It was a long time ago and there's no telling what the gator huggers are doing now days...
I traveled it 10 -15 years ago. Maybe they installed them after you were there. Not so much for gators, but other wildlife that crosses.
There was a bridge/underpass under M32 east of Atlanta built back in the 1970’s -80’s. It was supposed to be for deer and elk crossing the highway. It was used rarely, if ever, by wildlife and was later removed as I remember.
