Sounds good but if you use you knife often you'll go broke buying new blades.

I don't get the whole replace a blade knife thing.
Just sharpen your knife. Or carry two with you.
Takes like a minute to re-sharpen.

I could see an advantage in a replaceable blade knife for some one like me. Often I may find myself with one tool, my knife. It gets used for everything from a cutting instrument to a screwdriver to a prying utensil so blade damage is not unthinkable.

The replaceable blades are thin and sharp as heck. Quite durable, I used mine for a couple days of opening cardboard boxes and never had to change or hone the blade. I'm impressed.

A replacement blade would be a godsend if you get a little over exuberant with an existing blade with a little too much oomph trying to do the impossible.

I love mine! When I need to cape out a hide for the taxidermist, this is the knife I use. My buck knife gets the nod when it's time to gut a deer.
