I just got back Saturday. I almost got my chance Friday if he would have came 40 yards closer. There were 7 bucks chasing a doe around from noon till dark. One of my most exciting hunts. Good luck down there.

The hardest part is packing the truck and remembering everything. Put your truck in drive and mind in neutral. Books on CD makes my trips to Colorado fly by. I’ve almost run out of gas and my truck goes over 500 miles on a tank of gas listening to Jack Reacher kicking someone’s a$$.

 

LOL! Yep - I’ve got the 36 gallon gas tank in my last 2 trucks. I can go over 700 miles on a tank of gas. Love it .... until it is time to fill it up again! I could probably just about make it to Ohio from Iron Mtn on a tank full Best of luck to you when you get there as well.

 

Well looks like I am going to have to get an Ohio lease. Sure would make life exciting having two gun openers a season!
