Just checked, DNR website fishing guide says call 888-367-7060, or check online. Not sure when they will post it. Cicsco limit is 10. What was it before.

It was 12 before. Haven’t looked but that would include Whitefish as well I believe in the 10 fish limit

Jay Wesley said he requested it be raised to two but I havnt heard a word since then. Funny they dropped the Cisco limit after recently discovering that they gorge on alewife when they get the opportunity. Things just keep gettin weirder! HOW BOUT SOME DAM BROWN & STEELHEAD PLANTS BACK IN THE BAYS,!!!!!

Wont be any steelhead plants, at least in the Boardman. The Michigan Steelheaders told the DNR (at their last meeting) they didn’t want steelhead planted in the Boardman. The Steelheaders told Jay to plant them somewhere else and he mentioned the Dowagic River.

    Can’t speak to Browns.

I just called the number and it still says one for MM4 and is from Feb 14. Jay and other sources said it would be going back to 2. We are still waiting, April 1 is two days away.

I got out jigging the other day and even took the family for some fun. It isn’t hard when you run into big schools. I took a quick video when I stumbled onto a school and was able to capture the hook up as well. Working on uploading video any one know how?

I think your video has to be hosted on another site like youtube, vimeo etc. Upload to youtube first then copy and paste the video URL on here.

FYI no ramps in at Northport, one it at Sutton’s Bay but it was illegally pushed in by someone. Too rough to get out the other day.

The ramps are in-in both places. You must be referring to the dock.

The dock in Sutton’s Bay was allegedly pushed in place by fishermen that were wondering why it wasn’t in and a lot of people were using the ramp. The Township officials got butt hurt because their lethargic bureaucracy was trumped by active people.

Word from Facebook was the public ramp was shut down because of 1) butt hurt Township Officials and 2) to punish out of work fishermen, but not out of motivation.
