Life member here - since the 80s.
The way that certain people hate the organization tells me they are still doing their job fighting for gun rights. I will always be a supporter.

Thought this site would have more NRA support from it's members. The gun club I last went to requires NRA membership so they can get support and funding. The NRA is involved in safety, education, training and many other areas beside the 2nd amendment. With what's going on in the world I'm going to brag about the NRA before the size of my deer or length of my barrel.

Yeah, suddenly I can see an America they might help keep things in check. I mean there are people, actual officials in high office, really going for not-so-common sense actions on LEO's and perps of criminal activity (don't hold them, let them go) committed in recent months.

If a membership can help I might just go in for it, but prefer a one time lifetime over a subscription, be in their interest at my age I would think anyway.

I dumped my lifetime membership when they called my president a jack booted thug years back. It pissed me off.

That is what I remembered it wasn't directed at the president but at some actions of certain agents not all BATF agents.

Ok, don't really care. I don't need to pay dues for my second amendment rights anyway.

    Later guys. Good luck.

Perhaps not. But your tax $ pay a lot of salaries to people who are trying their best to take them away.

Back a number of years ago the NRA had too many ex military officers running it and they forgot or ignored the fact that they are first and foremost a “civilian”marksmanship organization. They pissed me off too and I withdrew my support and canceled my American Rifleman subscription for about 10 years as I recall, but - now I have renewed my support.
