    It's raining.
    Temp is falling.
Deer are wet here. Probably not overheating.
They'll be on their feet as usual this evening.

The more hunters that are hunting , the more deer will be encountered.
I don't confuse that with cold fronts passing through.
But if it helps get more hunters on stand , it'll be a great morning indeed.

Were deer collared where I hunt , it would be interesting to know how much the weather makes them move and how far vs pre-coldfront leaving. More , or less?
But I see deer when out there most any day.
Making the time to hunt , not a particular day. With exception of an East wind. At least on that site.

Yea, but the thermals, moon phase and wind will all be wrong. Stay home. Nothing to see here.

Not seeing much of a change coming in the next couple of weeks. Lows are all below freezing like the have been for most of this month. The 3 snow events we have had didn’t stick around very long.

The rut is over so it won't matter.

Can anyone provide a study that shows a decrease in hunting numbers due to Big Ten Football starting and the positive effect that will have on daytime activity during an ensuing cold-front? I'm riding pretty hard on that hypothesis and could use some backup for piece of mind. TIA!

I don't have to work this weekend so I will hunt lol.
The cold front is nice because I don't like hunting in warm weather.
I'm a lot happier that the expected wind is perfect for my stand!

I hope November Sunrise shoots a 160 on an 80 degree November morning. However I do believe tomorrow offers a good chance at some bucks. I'll be up pretty close to bedding in the morning as long as the north wind is true. Sunday in my area they are saying calmn wind. Blahhh Hope to see plenty of pics tomorrow from you gents

We were at 72 degrees around 2:30. It appears the rain has passed and it is now 63 and projected to in the high 40's by the time nightfall arrives. Tomorrow begins my favorite three weeks of the year. What's not to like?

Come on boys. This is the beginning of the best hunting of the year and this rainy, windy cold front is the icing on the cake. Look at the date!, the temps, the heavy rain should hopefully keep some of the movement suppressed overnight. a bright sunny cold morning after a large rain event that washed away all of their scent in their advertising scrapes along with all the leaves the have fallen and filled them in. That should be a recipe for a great morning hunt. With bucks hastily moving about to refresh their scrape. To let the ladies know they are ready to mingle. Expect big things tomorrow...and it should be getting better everyday we get closer to November.

So let's get a whoop whoop For tomorrow morning...if you aren't excited you might better take up golf.

Sucks the wind is totally wrong for 2 stands I have. May have to sit on the ground in another spot. You never know
