I have baited in known bear areas for several weeks now and no luck yet. Two separate baits were hit once and than nothing. I'm Using granola and maple syrup, molasses, gummy bears and used fryer oil poured over bait logs. I also have been using attractant sprays anise and vanilla extract. Mix of state land and private. After 2 weeks of inactivity I moved sites to new areas. Is there anything more I can do?? I'm open to Any suggestions running out of time.

I have a Gladwin tag also. I am baiting the west side of the zone. I haven't had any luck either.
Not many Bears and lots of natural foods can make it tough to find and keep them.
    Good Luck.

Scout. Bait where bears are instead of where you want them to be.

We train dogs in northern Gladwin County are baits went dead. A lot of natural food and farm crops.
