You can be at home suffering or in the woods. I would pick the latter.
Ive had them multiple times so I feel your pain.

Man that sucks! Sorry to hear. Can ya shoot out a window? Lol

On a serious note though, I have only heard of shingles and it sounds terrible. What exactly hurts? Is it the affected area or like body aches? I never really have heard details, other than it is just downright awful pain.

Mine starts center of chest and goes to center of back on left side.if cloths touch it it is constant stinging .Best to lay still with shirt off.If you had chicken pots get the shingles vaccine shot so you don’t get shingles.

Really sorry to hear you're having to go through this, especially during hunting season. Hope that the nerve pain goes away faster than expected so that you can get afield.

You have my sympathy as I have had them. From my experience it would depend on the phase or specific location of the shingles. In the latter phase, if I could comfortably wear clothing, I would depend on my relatives or buddies to do the lifting and they gladly provided that help.

I'm hoping for some relief for you soon. I haven't personally had shingles, maybe because I have gotten the vaccination shots, but I have watched my wife and a couple friends go through it and I know what it's like.
