Just got an angler kayak last weekend. Anyone have any recommendations on where would be somewhere good to fish where you could take advantage of being in a kayak. Doesn't have to just be Lake St Clair, although I do live right by it. I took it out near my house in New Baltimore Monday on it's maiden voyage and landed this pike

I saw a guy jogging for walleye near the Algonac DNR launch on the N Channel last week. Just watch out for the other boats.

If you're new to kayaking I would suggest starting in the canals, which are currently full of panfish and green bass.

    Nice Pike!
