Braid hasn’t caused me any issues. Really only used it as a temporary thing until I found the color Dacron I desire. Really it’s cheaper also. White is easy to come by. I’ve really been liking fine float 11 lately. Seems like main line varies per angler.

I tried fine float 11 and lost more floats than I’d like , been using blood run main line and like it much better. Maybe got a bad batch ?

16# has done me good. Even 20 I like, 12 is to light for me. Ties somewhat like floro, so touch sensitive in that aspect. Everyone has their likes but I run a lot of 10# leader last several years. West fish have been beefy. Blood run is to sinky/stretchy. Hydro float for king’s 30 or 50

One thing to keep in mind with fine float is that it is an ifga cerified line. Most lines are grossly oversized, most sunline products are very close to weight rating.
