Law states "All lines must be under immediate control" . So interpret that as you will or as your local law enforcement will

This is what my brother was cited for because he left his tip-ups out all night & went to bed.

I wonder how the use of WiFi tip up alarms is interpreted?

An acquaintance over in Wisco solved that dilemma well before wifi - he sleeps in his shanty.

One time I was walking off the pier to get my net out of my truck and 2 COs were walking out to check everyone out. I still had lines out. I asked them if it was OK for me to grab my net, they checked my license and let me carry on. I could have easily had issues w that scenerio.
