MI DNR hunting regulations mentions an exception is in place for zone 3 that is open to all firearms. Does that mean one could use a bushmaster 450 during the upcoming muzzleloader season in lower MI? Thxs
They have been doing that in the core CWD area in zone 3 for a couple years. This year it's open in Non-CWD areas.
Yet the restrictions end on Dec 1. So is my .308 good to go? I have no intentions of using my .308. Seemingly not, yet certain centerfires are allowed.
There are different rules in zone 3 and the limited firearms zone. They do overlap so you had better know where you are at if you are planning on using a 308 for deer.
