They have been doing that in the core CWD area in zone 3 for a couple years. This year it's open in Non-CWD areas.

 

As long as those firearms fit into the restrictions then yes.

you can use your 308 in zone 3 rifle zone

 

There are different rules in zone 3 and the limited firearms zone. They do overlap so you had better know where you are at if you are planning on using a 308 for deer.
