    I know we have a mushroom forum, but I thought maybe I’d get more traffic here? Move if necessary.

    I ran across these tonight while hunting a new area. I’m not even close to a mushroom expert, I looked online quickly, but wasn’t confident in anything I found.

    They look like Orange Mock Oysters to me but I am no professional.

    Do they smell bad, like rotten eggs? If so then they most likely are Orange Mock Oysters like Ieatshrooms said.

    Agree. Orange mock oysters. Nice flush, though. Not poisonous, just not considered edible.

    No they didn't smell bad at all. They smelled like mushrooms lol

    The pics don't do them justice though, those things were vibrant orange. They looked pretty for sure. They stuck out from a ways away.

    Looks like some type of oyster. Don't know what type though.
