Woke up this morning to very muddy water in the lower SCR. Anybody that is going fishing here today or tomorrow, you can prerig with your dark & bright colors to save a few minutes when you get here. There will probably be some good mud lines where the channels dump into LSC, but with ice chunks headed south out of anchor bay because of the recent winds, it’s probably not safe to try to run all the way across the lake.
Up by Port Huron seems to be less dirty than further south. I don't know if any of the launches up there are open yet, but it might be worth a shot. If you want to try a hail mary, I'd say go for broke and troll the breakwall at Harbor Beach if the conditions look safe. Heck of a long drive, but it's hard to try stuff like that when the walleye bite really gets going closer to home.
Yes I can’t make it up there tomorrow have to be home by 4, I plan to try Lexington or near there soon if winds work out
No but when the waters 33* and it is MUD, good chance you won't catch a fish.. Saginaw is a different story. It's what the fish live in..
