I have a pair that come to my suet blocks, but they never come by together. Same with the red belly woodpecker.

Right on, I always confuse the downys with the hairys. I know one is bigger but can't remember which is which. I had red belly's, downys, hairys, and pileateds yesterday. Both types of nuthatch as well at the suet yesterday.

Hairy's are huge compared to the downsized downy's.
    This is how I remember.

Our red heads have vanished. Had them for three seasons. Last saw the juvi a month ago. Had a hairy bitchin today cause one feeder was low. We have my mother-in-laws 4 hook shepherd’s hook with a skirt so the squirrels can’t get to them. Mom passed a couple of years ago. We got this 4 hook as nobody wanted it. I have looked for them for years, no luck. Might have been bought at a craft show.
Made specially by a welder. This is a pipe with an auger tip.
