I can't wait to get this one on the water. This is the poor man's Steez, the Alphas CT SV.

Nice looking reel...been real happy with the tatula sv though it’s Malaysia I believe.

I have a Japanese made whisker spinning reel I picked up back in early 90s...still works like the day I bought it.

The Tatula SV is a really nice reel. That was my intended purchase a few months back when I first started shopping Daiwa reels, then a friend turned me on to the smaller Japanese offerings because I like to fish trout. The SV spool is damn near impossible to backlash due to the way the braking system works. It's not very good for distance, but if you're making shorter more accurate casts, it's the spool you want. I'm kind of digging the shorter 80mm handle too.
