Now you're talking money than I have to spend. At 74 I think I will just take what God sends my way.
Do you also like even days with no clouds and a NW wind?
I wouldn't worry about spoilage, but tjm. I'm trying to get one in a position TO spoil.

Not sure if your age determines changes.
I had some forestry work done last year that increased sightings. And from visits , increased appeal. Cost was about tolerable/comparable compared to my renting equipment , learning it , and doing it.
About the equivalent roughly , of cutting a trail N/S thorough your ridges centers maybe.
Had I been less picky about the shot , I'd have scored well.
But am still delighted to have had the opportunity at a bruiser. A result of that equipment work.
My time not assured as to how many seasons.
About had my last season years ago. No , not due to age.
NE ,NW ,or north are good. East and I stay at the house and hunt from the back porch. I have one lane about 400 yards long to watch and once in a while I actually have a shot.
Gun season is awesome!
This makes me feel better about not having game cams.
