What’s the best launch for mid river?
7am-10am seemed to be the zone
We Use Wyandotte
What makes you think the DR will be jiggable tomorrow after all of this rain and wind?
Never know till you go.
Great catch and good to hear about the bite! Have not been out in a few months, but ready to go now before the weather gets cold. Nothing like those Fall cold water eyes!
Thanks for the pictures...
the river was nasty this morning. based on the forecast I did not expect it to be drizzling rain in addition to the cold and wind. I was out there for a couple hours early and was miserable so called it quits. Didn't get any bites. Water was chocolate milk.
Same here, fished three hours for a couple of bites. Nasty but fun to be on the river.
Hitting it in the morning, hope it’s good!
True, but past experience of mine and others who have fished this system for over 30 years have taught me to be skeptical and choose my days wisely. Just sayin....
I know exactly what you are saying. Some people like myself can only go out on certain days so when we plan on going, we go and hope for the best! In the long run, you end up improving your game, because lots of times you have to fish in poor conditions!
Exactly. Get out there and fish, just use common sense and be safe.
Because that was the only day I could go. Rather be optimistic than pessimistic. Was hoping east wind would help.
