Navionics vs Lake Master? Any comments welcome. I know absolutely nothing about Navionics, or how to use any cards to update. Thanks in advance.

Navionics uses computer interpolation more than LM does for the contours.
I own a couple of both brands, more LM than Navionics. If you're running a HB unit you have better data overall and more display options.
I currently have 3 Mega Gen 2 series HB and a Lowrance I'll run on the ice this season which only will take a Navionics card.
Both are good, IME the LM cards and generally more accurate.

Thank you. I'll save some money for upgrading the wiring for the HB's. I am currently working on the boat and will be using one battery for the units.

I use 10 AWG for new installs soldered-heatshrink to battery with fuse near battery.
My own rig is old and I used the 6 AWG from the factory TM wiring.
I actually have less voltage drop @ bow than from console units.
    I do use two batteries...
    Good call~
