Or ask for Shawn Babcock aka Django...dude is a salmon catching machine.
Ran into Django while fishing with Jake last year on the PM, he is a machine!
Riverside or Trout Scout
Django just 'stood someone up' on a trip on the PM the other day, lots of comments hating on that dude online. He does stay on the fish tho
Working for the right company at least? Oops.
Greg is an awesome choice for salmon or steelhead trips. Always had a great time with him on the river.
Larry will not let you keep fish. So what's the sense in going if your a meat hunter
my smoker would be sad....
I think that is the second time it has been said on here that Larry will not let you keep fish... He will. Feel free to call him if questioning his stance.
Doesn't sound right that a charter wouldn't let u keep fish, especially ones that will die anyway
As long as the guide is very upfront about their stance prior to booking, I don't see an issue with it. I'd certainly be pissed having paid for the trip and only find out afterwards that the clientele must adhere to his stance.
I have a friend that goes on a C&R fly fishing trip to Montana every year for trout with a guide who won't even let you net, touch, nor unhook your own fish. You barely get to look at it. And no pictures... he will tell you when it's picture worthy. Now that would really drive me crazy.
This is true, never showed for his trip at custer. Also passed him once last week when he was nearly asleep in the boat. Not to mention he was doing guiding "illegally" until I believe this year he now works for betts. Also runs his boat on plane on the lower pm. Would not be my first choice..or 2nd.
