There was a 28 and a couple 27's caught in the Big Boys. A 30 and a 29 during Ruby Thursday. A 28 in ladies tourney and a 28 in the youth. Then a 30 and a 28 in the four hours of the Pro Am. Many others were caught between 20 and 26#. Kings are starting to show up for sure and there are a lot of healthy ones.

First time fishing for salmon in ten years. Fished from 5-9pm in front of the bath house 110-140 FOW. One knock off in 140 FOW on a rigger 55 down (Green Spin Doctor and green/silver fly). Missed netting a ~12 lb king right at the boat in 110 FOW on rigger 85 down (green SD and green/silver fly). Obviously a bit rusty. Anyone do any better further south?

Yesterday morning cold water was down at least 110 feet. If you don't want to mess with that then run out and a little south. Start in 150 and put it on a west. Harder to find a big king but lots of coho and steel.

We went south this am 160-190. Went 1 for 3 with a ~8 lb coho. Caught him on a slider on rigger down 95 (MJ). The 2 we lost were about the same size and came on the same rod.

Careful Starcraft everybody thinks the DNR is doing a "great" job. Please don't criticize these hard working dedicated non fishing employees. It will only cost you heart burn and acid reflux. Go fish for Lakers that's "their" fishery now. Dr Howard Tanner be damned is the thought process from the bottom up and the top down. They win. We have lost. I'm tired of what they have made of this fishery. The whole thing is an absolute joke. Yes an absolute joke.
