Sounds like the first day of the ludington classic today was pretty poor. not many kings and alot of guys didnt even come close to their 12 fish limit. big fish was 27lbs supposedly and a few mid 20s. not like last year tourney so far. Any of you guys fish it??

Info I got was regarding pro registered boats... maybe the amautet guys did better.

Yeah kind of. As far as I know higher entry into big boys. There will be much better weights later. Lake flipped Sunday and is already better.

27 a good fish. hate to be the captain with the option to run to Wisconsin. IMO with the 2nd 3rd day of cold water I would not be surprised if motherload appears out of nowhere.

Thousands of salmon planted in Michigan last year, and more this year. Get ready, we'll either 3-4 years from now have great catches or Wisconsin will..

You mean to tell me that the weigh in was less than spectacular. I was expecting 170 lbs coolers and kings everywhere. The koolaid is strong in this state. Laker fest guaranteed for the rest of the tournament. Keep drinking it up. Can't wait for August. I'm always wrong!

They need to put the salmon back to 3, and bump the lakers up to 5. Open lakers year round. They're pretty tasty now. Atleast on Huron. :)

They need to stop planting Lakers. Oh and also those line screaming alewife eating Cisco. What are the those nice people in the far east paying per pound for herring roe. Cisco are herring see where this is going.

I wonder what would happen if kings started eating perch.

Getting really sick of the constant repetitive crying on what's supposed to be a reports page. Especially from people that never post reports. Hard to have credibility when nothing useful is shared.
