Hi all, last weekend in august doing a salmon fishing weekend out of Ludington and was looking to stay at carrievillestate forest, Leverentz lake, or Healy lake. I’m under the impression these are all first come, first serve. I’m just wondering if I’ll have a hard time getting into one of these places? Pretty busy usually or not much traffic. Thanks for any input. Also open for other suggestions.

You could go really rustic and stay in the Nordhouse Dunes area :)
