We used to use these little perch jigs/ tear drops back in the 80s and early 90s. We got them on Drummond Island and it's the only place I have ever seen them. They worked great on perch and I would like to buy more but I can't find them anywhere. I am starting to think someone local up there was making them but haven't been able to verify that. They had a really nice thin wire hook with a unique bend. Anyone seen these?

I remember using something like that too.
I take it that's just extra line wrapped around the bottom.
    Haven't seen them lately either

Yes it's just fishing line. It's tied into a shadow box my dad made. Not sure why the fishing line is wrapped on it though. Wish I could find more of these jigs. I found some hooks that look similar but that's about all I have been able to find.
