I’ve never tried that. Will do
do that on a small jig or plain hook?
Both, depends on the depth on where the fish are located and how finicky they are. Its definitely a good strategy for picky eaters.
Since most of the live bait presentations have been mentioned I'll spill my favorite artificial tricks for crappie. Jointed rapalas trolled seem to have a magic touch for paper mouths. Also another killer presentation is a Trout Magnet fished under a float. Just give the float little pops here and there to make that Magnet dance.
im a big trolling fan and have some trout magnets however I’ve haven’t had the chance to use them yet
I went out this Saturday and took a six pack with me. I used slip bobbers with a 1/32 jig tipped with a worm. I was only able to drink 1 beer cause I was murdering fish in about 8-10 FOW. Some bass but a ton of gills. It was insane
Loving this more and more! I can’t stop. Having a good fish fry tonight. Here is a pic of yesterday’s take in about 1 hour. Only again able to drink 1 beer cause they hit the jig constantly.
Do you need some help?? (w/ the fish) and that would let you do more beer but be careful the fish cops will do DUI.
I see a new thread in your future....... Giving advice rather than asking for it. Nice fish!
I never over do it however need my son to grow up so he can drive the boat. Hahah
Surely he's old enough to row?
very fine point sir! I’ll let him know.
Kids now are asking to fish every day and have a fish fry. I thank you gents for your advice and comments. This last weekend was truly heart warming. Ive taken them on hunts with me but at this age I think fishing has been better, especially cause they can do it themselves.
The smiles on their faces are the reason why this website is phenomenal! Thanks again gents!
Now when are you inviting a group of us over for some catch and cook?
