Hows it looking today guys? My visibility sucks!

We were talking about sitting for half the day on Monday before driving back but my wife came down with the flu so I had to get home to help with the baby and dog. Our guide text us last night and the area we were in (12' of water) cleared up nicely yesterday. They gained over 3' of vis. Sunday around 11 the next shack over missed one. Sounds like it was cruising right under the ice and it was a hard angle. He also sent a vid of them passing on a 40"er. Must be nice to have the time to pass on one like that!

Not as energy efficient as my usb cord that don’t com but this $20 100watt inverter with 110 and USB port is better then my 800 watt inverter with full time fan, the cam can run all day with 100% battery instead of about 5 hours like before.

At work, wishing I was still in Wisconsin, I did book two shanties next year for my brother and me, going to stay probably 11 days, lol
I might start using this set up more to see under my feet for pike spearing

Stopped at ripping lips in Stockbridge on the way out and picked up a couple of hoodies for my daughters. IMG_2283.jpg IMG_2282.jpg

We have used a full length mirror in the hardside which works well. Probably not as practical in a portable situation. Besides. Who needs 7 years of bad spearing luck if broken on the ice.

Are guide said well over 100 pounds. It was as big around as a 5 gal bucket. The spear was 20 pounds 3/8" round stock for the tines harden. I bought a new spear on the way home. Detachable head flying barbs Ready for next year Part of me wishes that fish was a little one lol
