Line for Spey Rod

    Get yourself a Skagit line once you get in the ballpark on grains. It's as leisurely as it gets. Once you have a rod/line dialed in, it is almost effortless.

    Finished the rod. I'm not optimist. I cast a 6, 7 and 8 weight wf line on it, not sure this rod is a performer. I'll bet it can catch some suckers, though. I'll still take it to Glenn to see if there is hope

    Glad you got it finished. A quick trip to see Glenn and you should have what you need to get started. I am sure it will be usable, just need to find the right set up.
