I'm in guy's. 1st sit been waiting for this wind. Wsw then switching straight south.
I had a bad attitude to start year. Sat on the side of a trail or 2 and cried two different occasions. Like too think I'm tough but being a damn cripple gets the best of me this time of year. Attitude adjusted and something's gonna bleed this evening :) 25 yards to where they "should" turn or it could be a point blank throat shot !! Weeds are trimmed this year :) good luck all. Absolutely perfect out !!

Can't load pic but most of ya have seen "apple ambush" tiny little hole cut behind a pine I'm tucked in with ghillie, they've got no clue.. bad service, just the way I like it. Time too enjoy :)

Thanks. There's a lot of fore- and back-cover around that stand. The deer came in from 4 oclock heading to 11 oclock. As it was just about in the open, It heard my arrow scrape the whisker biscuit when I drew and it jump-stepped and stood statue still, < 20 yds away -- behind a big oak branch. Full draw. Holding. Not coming out! Step. Look. Sniff. Look. Head bob. Starting to tire, I had to let down. Step left. Step left. No! Turn back right. Ok, it's coming out from behind the branch, heading from left to right. Draw. It stopped. Steady. Release.

"I will shoot this next shot perfectly or I will not shoot it at all."

    Scent control matters.

Just got back here about an hr ago. First sit of the year for me. Can’t express how excited I am to be out again. Little rain coming down but that’s alright.

    Good luck everyone

First sit for me. Took forever to get set up. Only 3rd time using climbing sticks. Seemed like I made alot of noise but 10 minutes in had a doe and fawn pop outta the corn... high hopes!

Get it done, AJ!!! Good luck, Man!!! I can’t even imagine the physical and emotional struggles you go through every once in a while! But hard to have a better attitude and more drive than what you have, buddy! Can’t wait for a good report!
