    Great hunt...truely blessed by God. Family here today to help me retrieve the buck. Man I love fall! Also my first birthday buck, been trying for that for 19 years!

    Banner day for daytime buck movement after a slow start, all were a bit young but an exciting day anyway. Doc Houndy says ive earned a little irish with my warm up coffee

    Slow morning for me.
    Headed to sw wind stand that I haven't hunted yet on the northern most part of this property. Think I tripped over every stick along the way. If that wasn't enough went to hang my backpack on a hangar but I guess I was off . Backpack full of lunch hits the ground 20 feet below. Get set up, less my backpack figuring every deer within 6 miles knows I'm here. Wrong daybreak a good buck is heading right to me. Turns out to be the big six I have passed before he's still walking.
    Haven't seen him in a week guess he has been hanging around up here. Few minutes later 2 more bucks pass to my right both are young. Stayed till 11 and didn't see any more deer.
    Found out the guy across the road shot the 8 that was on my list and he said the 10 he had been seeing got hit by a car earlier this week a half mile away. Yuck!
    Thinking might head to a farm in Gennesse co. This week for a change.
