My morning in LFTS or should I say goose stand . My 14 month old Yellow retrieved all five and did it rather efficiently!!
Congratulations to all of you deer hunters who connected today!!

 

Number five !! In the truck and done with our five goose limit today by 7:45 am!!!! A good day indeed !!

 

A lot of turkeys and deer moving tonight. Saw a few bucks and took a doe at 7:18. Couldn’t ask for a better night. Nice and cool, It felt like the end of October.

 

Congratulations!!
Sure takes the pressure off for later in the season.. Meat in the freezer is always good!!!

We have five more geese from this morning and are hunting again this evening.. Maybe quota will increase by closing time this evening...

Two more Sunday evening. For a 7 bird day !!
I know there is a Waterfowl forum, but I don't frequent that forum, and I'm a deer hunter that also hunts ducks/geese.. I hope I don't get persecuted for these pics. And everyone understands..

It was a pretty good week .. We ended up with 23 geese ,out of a nine day season, but actually only hunted five of the nine days!!

 

Posted up in Ionia County Sunday morning and dropped a doe...went to check on a blind set up in Barry County that same evening and a doe walked out and just stood there. Unfortunately for her, I had decided to take a handgun.
