Ionia county here on doe patrol behind my house. Hoping the brassica/rye combo brings in some chunky girls.

 

Out in Sanilac with the old man, nothing so far.

 

Out in Ottawa County set up between food source and bedding area. Hoping to get a crack at a decent buck that has moved in in the last week.

Stupidest thing I've ever seen including antlered deer as an option. You just KNOW hunters will wait for a buck until the very end to target a doe. SMDH!

 

Can’t get out here in the mornings. There’re standing around the house and driveway. I’ll be out tonight to try to drop the big nanny with the vertical again.

 

Not a hair moving. Wind is picking up and snow falling.

 

Not sure what you are referring to. Sounds like there might be an issue with others being able to hunt after archery season. And if they CHOOSE to target a specific animal, good for them. It is their choice if they have a valid tag.
By the way, no press release on this yet, and it looks like it was a proposal at the time.
