Finally seen some deer! 10-12 does/yearlings. One beautiful shooter following a doe. Only problem is he was 150 yds out. Watch him for a good 4-5 minutes. Saw another one right at dark. I know where they live now.

  2. I’d say if your surrounded by doe right now your right where you need to be. Good luck!

Well about 5:30 watched a doe feeding and noticed another body deer with her; seen horns and said he’s a shooter (after passing small bucks all week) watched them bed for a bit, 90 yards away and thought damn well it was close. 6:30 she starts moving my way and was like I’ve been here before so don’t &[email protected]“ up again had the doe right under me and he was 15 so I lit the nocturnal up! Severed the heart

“I don’t normally kill a nice buck, but when I do, my trophy shots are usually in the nude”...lol

Not sure what hillbilly scene you got going there, but congrats on the buck.

Looks like the misses was pretty happy when he got home with the meat. A quick celebratory romp then it’s time for the pictures?

Haven't hunted out of that one yet. Not sure about the shooting rail. I'll likely be okay because I stand to shoot. If not I'll strap it up to the tree.

I have been too. As much as I bounce around and hunt the ground, it seems like a great easy and mobile set up that you could make work almost anywhere.

The hardest part of ground hunting with a bow is finding a good spot to set up with shot options. That would take some of the work out if it worked well.

Have owned it for 5+ years and it didn’t get much use until recently when a few of the kids and I have started hunting more on the ground. I think it’s a really valuable resource for a mobile ground hunter to have.
