Back out in Menominee county. 42 degrees very light wind. Didn’t start off good. Got to my stand and realized I forgot my bino s. Made the long five minute walk back to camp and retrieved them. Ready to rock. Good luck everyone.
Trying to get my ten year old on a buck little punk is getting picky with two whole bucks under his belt haha.He let a spike and a fork horn walk last night. We settled into the ground blind again looking for the broke horn eight as he calls him. good luck everyone

11 yards. It appears my teriyaki jerky & goldfish cracker cover scent is working perfectly!!
First sit of the year at my property. Already saw one doe on the walk in. Good luck tonight.
Venison jerky really makes them nervous!
I hope they don't mind smoked salmon (I caught a bunch of them this fall) and scotch as a cover scent. So far it's either me or the rain, but no deer sightings.

Two shots of scent killer into your mouth first helps the Smell of jerky coming out of your body later. So I am told.
Checking in from 25 ft up in GT county, looking for a freezer queen to take home to mama.

This week I built a raised platform and today installed a new wooden blind up on it. I know the timing sucked but I wanted it ready for gun and late season. Since it's raining to night I decided to just sit in it an observe. So far 3 does have passed by and never gave it a thought. Here are some views from it and I'm roasty warm and dry.
Great Yooper buck!
Hunted a new spot today and saw one yearling buck before the rains came. I went for a mid day walk about to get a feel for the area's Buckstosterone level. Some bigger sign is starting to pop up but still a little early.
