I do ty flys, but mostly for bass , gills, nos self respecting trout would tke anything of mine,Now, I am making Pike decoys, for spearing, all fish so far, but I want to do a frog, wood body, but the legs I thought i could come up with either a saddle hackle or rubber hackle ( for movement), or something else. any ideas?

Ive seen leather strips used or shaved hide strips used, I have not tried it myself but observed it being used.

yes ramjet , that is for certain an option for me. On one ice fishing trip , my buddys tip up went off, retrieved a pike, that had his shiner and a frog in its mouth. which lead to a conversation of where do frogs go after ice is formed?
