That was a chore, got my tag for Lake Co that I drew and then a private land tag down here at home. I can use either of my combo tags this year for a doe in any season in both counties, but it's nice not having to burn a buck tag if I don't need to.

Yup that happened to me, persistence paid off in the end though.

For public land you can buy all that are available. For private land the max is ten if you haven't bought any yet. There is no daily limit like in the old days.

    Leftover Licenses

All remaining antlerless deer licenses will be sold on a first come, first-served basis beginning Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time. This includes quota-limited licenses that remain after the drawing as well as licenses for DMUs with unlimited antlerless deer licenses. There is no guarantee that leftover licenses will be available for any DMU. Leftover licenses will be sold until license quotas are met in each DMU. Current leftover license availability may be viewed at Michigan.gov/Deer.

Purchase Limits for Private-Land Antlerless Deer Licenses (Per Hunter)

An individual may purchase up to a season limit of 10 private-land antlerless deer licenses statewide.

Let's not turn this into a toilet paper deal where we are hoarding permits.

I feel lucky. I breezed through buying a couple leftover tags today, no issues at all with the system.

I think it depends on the unit you are applying for, but I bought 8 and was processed through.
