    Gentlemen and ladies

    Last week of the season. Look at the wind and weather.

    What’s your top 2 days to hunt? Pretend you are Shia Kid and you can hunt any day.

    I choose Monday and Wednesday. tomorrow for the obviously nasty northern weather. Wednesday for them to fill in my spot for a few days and hopefully some ice ups each night to funnel them in.

    I'm on the west side and it doesn't look we'll get much if any precipitation. Looks ducky over on the east side tomorrow though!

    Good luck for those of you getting out this week! My kids start hybrid school back up so I'll be scouting hard Tuesday to see what I have to work with this week. Looking forward to deer season being over so I have more options again.

    I wrecked my back 15 minutes after making this thread last night. Putting the canoe on top of my vehicle. I might be done already. Unless I hunt out of a tree. I can’t do anything above eye level. I definitely can’t do anything safely out of my canoe.

    I went from immobile Monday to bang bang today. Scouted these birds yesterday, never hunted anywhere near this area. Shot a quad on the first 4(very exciting) then a single, and then a group of 12 came in all split up. All landed from different angles. Missed all of them SMH. Just couldn’t decide who to shoot and then it’s over before you know it. Great hunt, I love scouting birds and getting on them. We should of had our 8. Left at 9 for someone else to shoot them this weekend.

    I’m hunting the wife next. Then the mid split

    Thursday was unexpectedly solid.

    Saturday was thrashed when my wife reminded me that I was blowing off an extended family Christmas gathering and hunting would further rub salt in the wound. Like clockwork...the text came last night asking me if I'd reconsider and at least come by and say Merry Christmas to everyone.
