Tough bite, lots of fish but lots of window shoppers, constant aggressive jigging caught a few, never really figured out what they wanted. 20-28 fow.
Now for the ice.....5" of soft crap that cracks and flexes with my 205# on it.....not good, I really don't know what its going to look like tomorrow but if it makes it until tomorrow night what's here will probably still be good. Sounds sketchy but could still be doable tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed!! Be safe to you and everyone else out there today. Hopefully it will hold so I can get one last hoorah out there tomorrow. May have to head further north if she softens too much more today.

Cool. What would say was the thickness before the warm weather? I was on a lake last Friday that had 12" or more. Might try tomorrow or Saturday.

Tough to say since I last fished this lake weeks ago but it was a lot less, a buddy fishing further toward hillsdale said he was on 9" today

Checked out lake in the irish hills, parents have a dock, open water from shore about 5ft out. Ice does not look good

Got out on Wamplers for 2 days last weekend with good friends. Glad we did, looks like the ice is giving way to spring. Wound up the season with a 30" pike reeled in by long time friend jean. JW_30inchpike_09mar19.JPG
