It just keeps telling on them big bucks roaming https://www.qdma.com/ehd-bad-cwd-wo...zvPRXG9PVs5zH0MBZmJnxIcyUohWea1DGG51iUnqGZSG4
Do you know what age they consider a doe an adult and what age they consider a buck an adult? And if it's now 15% of adult doe have cwd and 35% of adult bucks have cwd how many more adult does are there than adult bucks? I'll guess there are more infected doe than bucks. Do bucks contract the disease more from other bucks or other does? Do does contract it from bucks or does more often? Do doe pass it to fawns before birth or after? Is it dispersing bucks the biggest cause for spread? Or doe dispersal? These and many other questions imo need to be determined to better manage the disease. But it appears state agencies will just continue to kill as many deer as possible.
Why should we expect them to do anything but what has already failed when they have no real grasp of what CWD is and how it is triggered?
